My Background

I am uniquely qualified to be the best candidate for SD45. With over three decades of experience as an Indian Child Welfare expert and Guardian ad Litem, my journey has been driven by a deep commitment to serving vulnerable children and families. As I navigate contentious courtrooms, representing Native American parents under the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), I understand the paramount importance of preserving Montana's way of life and freedom. As I often say, "In Montana, our way of life and freedom is paramount. Montana is the last stand. If we continue compromising freedom, where else do we go?"

Alongside my professional endeavors, I've managed Whitehorse Forestry, Inc., specializing in timber management and wildland fire suppression services, contributing to the preservation of our natural resources. My personal experiences, such as raising my own children and grandchildren, fuel my passion for advocating for our freedoms. I've often expressed, "As a Mother of three adult children...I felt compelled to grasp the tatters of the freedoms we still have, and to fight back for the ones we’ve lost."

This background, coupled with my involvement in various community organizations, shapes my dedication to serving our community.

Together, we will revitalize our economy and strengthen our communities. My resolve to fight against harmful policies stems from a deep understanding of the challenges facing our families. People are frustrated with long time elected leaders who are not motivated by an inner clarion call to contend against harmful policies targeting our children, lowered standards in education, the rising costs of everything. Together, we can build a brighter future for Senate District 45 and all of Montana.
